T/C 45-70 26" Encore SST Fluted NS TB

This review is more about Bass and Bucks, not so much the product I purchased. The product is a 26” T/C Encore Prohunter barrel in 45-70 Govt. I suspect the barrel will perform the same as the other T/C Encore barrels I have purchased in the past, i.e. perfectly adequate for my needs. I had been searching for a 26” 45-70 barrel for longer than I can remember. Shorter barrels are almost always available, but not 26”. I chose the “Notify me when available” option on at least half a dozen websites but never heard back from any of them until I got notified from Bass and Bucks that they had barrels in stock. As soon as I saw the notification I went to their website and purchased one. That was 20 Aug 26. The next day I received notification that the barrel had shipped. The next day the barrel arrived. I was dumbfounded. Bass and Bucks provided me the fastest and most efficient customer service I have ever received. Bass and Bucks is now my first choice when I need general hunting gear and especially T/C parts. My thanks to the crew at Bass and Bucks! You guys are outstanding!
